The Charming Market is a community marketplace where anyone can sell and everyone can shop.

Whether you're a small business, nonprofit organization, kidpreneur, antique collector, reseller, online boutique owner, crafter, food vendor, farmer, or simply looking to clear out items from around the house, we invite you to join us!

Our goal is to create a fun, family-friendly marketplace that brings together local sellers, unique finds, great food, secondhand treasures, small businesses, and community connections.

IMPORTANT: THIS IS AN OPEN COMMUNITY MARKET

The Charming Market is not a curated or category-exclusive market.

We do not limit the number of vendors selling similar products, and duplicate businesses, products, or categories may be present at the same market.

You may see established small businesses alongside garage-sale sellers, resellers, crafters, food vendors, nonprofits, and community members simply clearing out items from home.

The goal is simple: reserve your space, set up, sell, shop, and connect with the community.

As long as your items are permitted under our market policies and you meet any applicable legal or documentation requirements, you're welcome to participate.

VENDOR FEES

• One Vendor Space: $30

• Vendor spaces are standard 10' x 10' spaces.

• Vendors are welcome to reserve multiple spaces if additional room is needed for displays, inventory, or setup.

Vendor spaces are assigned by The Charming Market team to ensure proper spacing and traffic flow.

SETUP & EVENT TIMES

• Vendor Setup Begins: 7:30 AM
• Market Opens: 9:00 AM
• Market Closes: 1:00 PM
• Teardown Begins: 1:00 PM
• All Vendors Must Be Fully Packed and Cleaned Up By: 2:30 PM

For the safety of vendors and shoppers:

• Please follow all staff directions regarding vehicle access, unloading, and parking.

• Vehicle traffic may be restricted within the market area during setup and throughout the event for the safety of vendors and shoppers.

• Vendors may not begin teardown before 1:00 PM unless instructed otherwise by The Charming Market staff.

PARKING, CHECK-IN & BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS

Vendor spaces are assigned by The Charming Market team.

You will receive your booth number when you arrive and check in on market day.

Please do not select or begin setting up in a space until you have checked in and received your assigned booth number.

Vendors should arrive beginning at 7:30 AM for setup and follow all posted or staff-provided directions for:

• Vendor Check-In
• Booth Location
• Unloading
• Vendor Parking
• Setup

Once you receive your booth number, you may proceed to your assigned space and begin setup.

Please do not move to another space or trade spaces with another vendor without permission from The Charming Market staff.

CANOPIES & TENT SAFETY

Vendor safety is a top priority.

All tents and canopies must:

• Have a minimum of 25 pounds of weight attached to EACH leg.
• Be staked into the ground whenever conditions allow.
• Remain properly secured throughout the duration of the event.

The Charming Market reserves the right to inspect tent weights and anchoring at any time.

Vendors without proper tent weights may be required to remove their tent and may be denied participation in future events.

SELLING RESTRICTIONS

The following items, services, activities, and materials are NOT permitted for sale, display, giveaway, promotion, or practice at The Charming Market:

• Firearms
• Ammunition
• Weapons
• Explosives
• Fireworks
• Animals
• Illegal substances
• Counterfeit merchandise
• Pornographic materials
• Obscene materials
• Hate-based, discriminatory, or derogatory items
• Tarot cards or tarot readings
• Psychic readings or services
• Fortune-telling
• Divination services or materials
• Ouija boards or similar spirit-board products
• Occult-themed spiritual services or practices
• Any item, service, or activity prohibited by local, state, or federal law

The Charming Market reserves the right to require the removal of any product, service, activity, signage, or display deemed inappropriate for the family-friendly environment and values of the market.

FOOD VENDORS

Food vendors are welcome but must disclose that they will be selling food during registration.

All required food permits, licenses, certifications, and/or food-handling documentation applicable to your business must be submitted before participation.

This documentation requirement is for compliance purposes and does not mean The Charming Market is a curated or category-exclusive market.

If a food vendor is unable to provide the required documentation, their participation may be denied and their booth fee will be refunded.

ELECTRICITY & GENERATORS

Electricity is NOT provided.

Small generators are permitted but must be disclosed prior to the event so generator placement can be considered when assigning vendor spaces.

Please email staff@thecharminghaven.com before the event if you plan to bring a generator.

TRAILERS

Vendors may use trailers for transportation and unloading purposes only.

Selling directly from a trailer is not permitted.

All merchandise must be displayed within your assigned booth space.

CLEANUP REQUIREMENTS

Vendors are responsible for leaving their assigned space clean and free of debris.

Please remove all:

• Trash
• Boxes
• Displays
• Merchandise
• Tent weights and equipment
• Personal belongings

Nothing may be left behind after the event.

LIABILITY AGREEMENT

Participation in The Charming Market is voluntary and at your own risk.

The Charming Haven, The Charming Market, its owners, staff, volunteers, contractors, and representatives are not responsible for:

• Theft
• Damage
• Injury
• Weather-related losses
• Loss of income
• Damage to merchandise, vehicles, trailers, tents, displays, or personal property

Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise, equipment, property, permits, licenses, insurance, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

By reserving a vendor space and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all market policies, safety requirements, liability provisions, and participation rules.

Submission of payment and participation in the event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

WEATHER POLICY

The Charming Market is an outdoor event.

In the event of inclement weather, unsafe ground conditions, flooding, high winds, or other conditions deemed unsafe by event staff, The Charming Market reserves the right to cancel the event.

A cancellation decision will be made no later than 24 hours prior to the event whenever possible.

All booth fees are non-refundable.

If an event is canceled by The Charming Market due to weather or safety concerns, vendor booth fees will automatically be credited and transferred to the next scheduled market event.

No cash refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.

BEFORE YOU RESERVE YOUR SPACE

By purchasing a vendor space, you understand and agree that:

• The Charming Market is an open community marketplace, not a curated vendor event.
• Similar or duplicate businesses, products, and categories may participate.
• Garage-sale and secondhand items may be sold alongside small businesses and professional vendors.
• Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, tents, displays, equipment, and supplies.
• Electricity is not provided.
• Vendors must check in upon arrival and receive their booth number before setting up.
• Booth assignments are provided on market day at check-in.
• Vendors must follow all setup, safety, parking, cleanup, and selling requirements.
• Food vendors must provide applicable documentation before participating.
• Your booth fee reserves your space for the selected market date.
• Booth fees are non-refundable except where specifically stated regarding required food vendor documentation.
• Weather cancellations made by The Charming Market are transferred as a credit to the next scheduled market.
• Purchasing a space confirms that you have read and agree to all policies listed above.
